  • Junior Riders (Under age 16) Must Be Sponsored

    Junior riders as defined by AERC rules, must be sponsored be an adult (18 years or older) and stay within 1 minute of said sponsor during the whole course of the ride. All Junior riders are required to wear an SEI approved, ASTM standard helmet. 

  • I agree to use Ride With GPS on my cell phone to navigate the routes of the White Mountain Tango. I acknowledge it is my responsibility to be prepared for possible phone failure or loss and agree to carry a portable battery charger and the printed maps and cue sheets for navigation in the event of phone loss or failure.

  • Refund/Cancellation Policy

    Ride entry cancellation received on or before Thursday, September 4th, 2025 by 5 pm will receive a refund less a $25 administration fee. No refunds for ride entry cancellations after 5 pm September 4th, 2025.


    Agreement and Release of all Liability 


    I, the undersigned, in consideration of the acceptance of this entry hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in the White Mountain Tango Endurance Ride. I, the undersigned, in consideration of accepting this entry, do hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release, the White Mountain Tang endurance ride Organizers, it’s Sponsors, Managers, Volunteers, and all individual members thereof and all other persons regardless of their capacity in any way connected with the event described herein, their representatives, heirs, executors, administrators and assigns from any and all right, claim or liability for damages, or for any and all claims of any kind and nature that I might have. As a participant in the White Mountain Tango endurance ride, I agree to abide by the rules of AERC and the aforementioned ride. I understand that endurance riding involves being in remote areas for extended periods of time, far from communications, transportation, and medical facilities; that these areas have many natural and man-made hazards which Ride Management expressly declines to anticipate, identify, modify or eliminate or warn against; that horses can be excitable, difficult to control, and unpredictable; and that accidents can happen to anyone at any time. I agree to take full responsibility for myself and the animal I ride. I release, hold harmless and indemnify the AERC, USFS, ride management, all ride personnel, and all property owners over whose land the ride passes, from all liability arising from any accident, injury, or loss that might occur due to my participation in the ride. I have carefully read this agreement, AERC Ride Rules & all information provided. I understand this is a complete release of liability and a promise not to sue or to make a claim-that it is a contract between myself and ride management.

  • Additional Release of Liability for Junior Riders: 

    I, as parent/guardian of the above minor rider, have read and understand that the liability release applies to me and my dependent. My signature also indicates that I give permission for any emergency medical treatment which may be required for my child, and do agree to indemnify and hold harmless anyone giving such consent. I do further acknowledge that I have read the foregoing and know and understand the contents herein. I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
