The Hub for Innovative Law Offices (the "Hub") helps public interest lawyers build solo practices and small firms that serve the public interest. Program participants will receive access to subsidized workspace, financial support, legal resources, mentoring, educational instruction on substantive law and law practice management, and training on marketing, business, and client development for public interest lawyers. The Hub is open to attorneys with active bar licenses.

If selected, participants must commit to starting their law practice no later than September 1, 2026.

Priority will be given to applications submitted by May 1, 2026. Applications submitted by May 31 will be considered for this cycle. Applications submitted after May 31 may be deferred to the next cycle.

Additional Requirements

The following documents must be submitted with this application:

A brief personal statement (1-2 pages) that includes the following: your vision for your solo practice or small firm; the client base you are looking to serve, and why; your anticipated income and expenses for the first six months; why you want to be part of the hub; and why you should be selected to participate in the Hub's inaugural cohort (e.g., how your goals align with its mission, how you will contribute to the community, etc.)
Your current resume; and
A list of three references with their contact information.
