What is 1099 Contracting?
As a 1099 independent contractor, you are self-employed and not considered an employee of Renew Teletherapy LLC. This means you are responsible for managing your own taxes, benefits, insurance, and work schedule. You will invoice for your services and are paid directly, without taxes withheld. This role offers flexibility and autonomy, but it also requires self-management, organization, and accountability. If you're seeking a position that offers freedom in how and when you work, and you're comfortable handling your own professional obligations, 1099 contracting may be a great fit for you! Contractors will be responsible for providing proof of a background check and licensure, as well as professional (and sometimes general) liability insurance as well.
