The snow removal season runs 1 Nov 2025 - 31 Mar 2026. Early bird sign up for regular customers applies until 1 October 2025.

Laneway Service:

In 2025, we are introducing the option of Standard or Premium Service for laneways:

Standard Service means we will come to clear for snowfall events of 5cm and more.

Premium Service means we will also come to clear for singular snowfall events of 2cm to 5cm. If the snow event is expected to exceed 5cm, regular snow clearing will be scheduled (i.e. drivers will NOT be dispatched early).

Laneway Size - Standard Contract (5cm)*
Snow clearing operations to commence when a snow fall event of 5cm or more occurs.
Laneway Size - Premium Contract (2 - 5cm)
Our Premium service will also include clearing for snowfall events of 2cm to 5cm.

Please understand that Jonathan's Snow Removal cannot prevent, and is therefore not responsible for gravel being picked up and displaced by our snow removal equipment.
Walkway Shovelling:

Walkway width is no more than 5’ wide. Walkways that are wider or with large landing pads / attached patios that the homeowner wishes to have shoveled, will be subject to additional charges.

Walkway shoveling includes shoveling in front of garage doors (if applicable).

NOTE: We only offer Standard Service (5cm+ accumulation) for walkways.

Please note that we do not offer a Premium service (2-5cm accumulation) for walkways. We only shovel for accumulations starting at 5cm.
Surcharge & Payment Options

PLEASE NOTE: Payment should NOT be made prior to receiving an official invoice from us. All returning and new customers must sign up for insurance purposes and to secure a place for the season, but payment will not occur until invoicing is done.
Please be aware of our maximum snow clearing threshold of 275cm, after which we will charge for any additional accumulation. Please indicate whether you would like to opt-in, or opt-out of the surcharge for additional clearings above the 275 cm threshold.*

The surcharge is proportional to the amount of the contract (before discounts) should the total of accumulation for the season exceed 275cm. (For example, if the base price of the laneway before discounts is $440, divided by 275cm = $1.60 per cm.) At our discretion, we may waive this surcharge if a minimal excess is received.
