    Opportunity to Serve at WHCT [Parent Requirements]

    Each family (one parent) must sign up for at least one date in each of the following areas. Fill out this form as often as needed. We welcome parents who would like to serve additional dates as they are able, but below is the minimum: + Door Monitor (2x shifts total= 1 whole day AM & PM on same day OR two half days) + Event Helper (1x) + Lunch Helper (1x... choose more than 1x lunch if you have multiple children)

  • Parent Door Monitor

    Each family (appointed parent) will serve as a door monitor for one full tutorial day = 7 hour commitment. Choose a date from the calendar below. You can choose the whole day (selecting both AM & PM selections) or only a half day commitment. If choosing a half day, you must choose TWO slots which CAN be on different dates OR the same date. (Note: You can only choose AM and PM front door shifts to serve both of your shifts in one day. Choosing the Floating/Back Door shift will conflict with the AM and PM shifts.) Each family should choose two slots below in order to fulfill their commitment.
    Parent Door Monitor

  • Shifts: See the different times for each door monitor shift.

    AM Shift is the FRONT DOOR morning shift = 1st Half of the day / 8 am to 11:30am PM Shift is the FRONT DOOR early afternoon shift = 2nd Half of the day / 11:30 am to 3pm Floater/BACK DOOR= 10am-1:30pm This position will be at the back door but you will walk the halls between classes periodically. [Please note that the morning shift begins at 8 am which is earlier than classes begin. ]

  • Instructions on selecting a date.

    Two Volunteers are needed each day (front and back doors). When selecting your date, please click on the checkbox. If it is unavailable then the slot has already been filled. Please choose two different places in order to fulfill your Door Monitor commitment. NOTE: AM (8am-11:30am) and PM (11:30am-3pm) shifts are both at the FRONT DOOR. The Floating/BACK DOOR shift is 10am-1:30pm. You CANNOT serve lunch on the same day you are serving PM front door and Floating/Back door shifts.

    Please choose one area of an official WHCT event in which to serve. Descriptions of each event and the time commitment involved is explained on the PDF provided. [Please note: families with a juniors and seniors, you are also asked to serve at graduation. This is in addition to another WHCT event that you will choose below.]
  • Lunch Helper

    We have about 200 volunteer spots to cover for the entire year (3 helpers per lunch x 64 lunch periods). There are only 150 families at WHCT. If some of our families with multiple children can serve lunch twice that would cover our lunches for the entire year. In other words... I won't be mad if you sign up for more than one lunch! Thank you so much. Lunch commitment is 11:50 am to 12:50pm - 1 hour NOTE: If you are serving as 1/2 day door monitor the same day you are serving lunch, you CANNOT serve lunch with the PM door monitor shift OR the Floating/Back Door shift. You CAN serve lunch if you are only serving for the morning shift as door monitor. A work around to get this all done in one day is if both parents serve that day and split it up who is serving as door monitor and who is serving as lunch helper.
