      Non‑Employment & Volunteer Status
      By submitting this application, I understand that I am applying as a volunteer, not an employee or contractor of Team Thurmond Mentoring (TTM) or any partner organization. I will receive no wages or employment benefits, and I may withdraw at any time. This role is governed by Georgia law, which limits nonprofit liability for volunteer activities performed in good faith, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

      Waiver of Liability & Assumption of Risk
      I acknowledge that volunteering may involve risks of injury, illness, or property damage. I assume full responsibility for any such risks and voluntarily release and hold harmless TTM, its staff, officers, partners, and agents from any liability or damages arising from my volunteer service, unless due to gross negligence or intentional harm. I understand TTM does not provide medical or liability insurance for volunteers.

      Media Release
      I give Team Thurmond Mentoring, Inc. permission to use photos, video, or other media captured during volunteer activities for promotional and educational purposes, with no compensation due to me.
