The mission of the United Way of the Tanana Valley is to improve the lives of every person by mobilizing the caring power of our community.

We inspire our community to GIVE, ADVOCATE, and VOLUNTEER in support of our local nonprofits.

Our impact areas of focus are healthy community, youth opportunity, financial security, and community resiliency.

We educate about the importance of philanthropy and encourage others to give back in all ways they are able; be that financial gifts, volunteering their time, or lending their voice.

I understand that the United Way's mission and programs are meant to cover a variety of needs in the community. The mission is to serve ALL people and, if appointed, I will work collectively in an unbiased manner to ensure the work, progress, and reputation of the United Way of the Tanana Valley remains one of respect, inclusion, and transparency.
