These auditions are only open to those candidates with the right to work in New Zealand for the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra at the time of application.
LIVE AUDITIONS

Live auditions will take place in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch on the following dates:
- Wellington: Wednesday 3rd September 2025
- Auckland: Saturday 6th September 2025
- Christchurch: Saturday 11th October 2025
RECORDED AUDITION

If you are unable to attend one of the live audition dates, you may submit a filmed audition recording. Only recordings that follow the NZSO recording requirements will be accepted. Apply below to receive all information and requirements for submitting your recorded audition

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra tunes at A440.
Auditions, both live and recorded, will be unaccompanied.
Please note: NZSO Casual Auditions are not played behind screens.
