  • Before a Buyer can sign a contract for the purchase of any property in Queensland, the Seller must provide to the Buyer a completed and signed Form 2 Disclosure Statement.

    To engage our office to prepare this Disclosure Statement on your behalf, please complete the following questions and provide the documents requested. Our team will then order the required searches and prepare the Disclosure Statement for you. 

    Upon receipt of all the required information, our team will contact you to arrange payment of our costs, and then forward to you the Disclosure Statement for signing, and forwarding to your Buyer and/or Real Estate Agent.

    Our costs for preparing the Form 2 Disclosure Statement are as follows:

    •  Professional Fees - $330.00 (including GST)

    Required Searches:

    • Title Search $34.17 (including GST) (per lot)
    • Registered Plan - $36.12 (including GST) (per lot)

    Required Additional Searches for Units or Lots in a Community Titles Scheme: 

    • Community Management Statement - $80.83 (including GST)

    Other additional searches may be required depending on the type of property and the information you have available. Any additional search costs are detailed further below.

  • As we are not familiar with the property that you are selling, we can only prepare the Disclosure Statement based on the information you have provided. As such it is very important that the information you have provided is correct. In the event that incorrect information has been provided it may give your Buyer a legal right to terminate the contract of sale at any time up until settlement. If you are unsure of any of the answers provided, or need further guidance please contact our office urgently.
