By completing this form, you will introduce yourself, highlight your unique strengths and experiences, and explain your motivation for participating in the OUISSAL program as a mentee and for being mentored by an experienced entrepreneur. Mentees Selection Criteria:
To participate in Ouissal, you ideally meet the following requirements:
Career
- An entrepreneur with solid and scalable business plan
- Have already secured the basic financing of the business
- A strong interest in integrating sustainability and digital transformation into the business plan
Commitment to the Program:
- Willingness to invest approximately 2 hours per week for around 9 months, from the Kick-off meetings until the Women’s Forum, in a group mentoring relationship
- Commitment to successfully developing a sustainable business plan with the support of the mentor and the mentoring group
- Maintaining local, regional, and international connections with other women entrepreneurs and female executives gained through the OUISSAL Project
- Participation in one of the mandatory Kick-off meetings:
- Morocco: 27–31 Oct 2025
- Jordan: 12–16 Jan 2026
- Egypt: 9–13 Feb 2026
Kick-off meetings usually take place on weekdays, with arrival on Monday and departure on Friday. Participants residing in the host country are expected to attend the corresponding meeting.
- Participation in the 7th German-Arab Women’s Forum in Berlin in Autumn 2026 subject to the mentee’s performance evaluation by the mentor and the OUISSAL Team
- Interest in intercultural exchange and sharing professional perspectives
- Commitment to connect with and support women in the OUISSAL Network, including past and current participants
- Demonstrate respect, self-awareness, and reflective personal qualities
Language skills
- Very good knowledge of English, as all kick-off meetings, events, workshops, and online sessions will be conducted in English
- Other languages may be used during the group mentoring phase if agreed upon by all participants in the group
Code of Conduct:
- Respectful Interaction: OUISSAL is not a political platform. Participants are encouraged to respect each other’s opinions and backgrounds and to engage in open dialogue in a spirit of curiosity and cooperation.
- Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: Any form of discrimination, hostility, or hate speech against individuals or groups based on religion, ethnicity, nationality, or any other identity will not be tolerated.
- Constructive Collaboration: OUISSAL does not aim to create entry opportunities in new markets, nor does it serve as an internship or job exchange platform or as a space for commercial partnerships. Our focus is on learning, mentoring, and mutual professional development.
- Confidentiality: All mentoring sessions, workshops, and networking events take place in a trusted space. Participants agree to keep shared information, contact details, and business ideas confidential and not share them outside the OUISSAL program without consent.
- Once selected, mentees commit to actively participating in all program activities. The program involves significant organizational and financial investment, funded by public resources, and mentors volunteer their time. Active participation is therefore expected as a sign of respect to mentors and to fellow participants.
Cost: The program covers flights, intercity transport, meals, and accommodation for the kick-off meetings and the German-Arab Women’s Forum. Visa fees, if required, are not included. Your investment is your time and your openness to learn and grow together with your mentoring group.
