  • Mini Markets Waitlist

Please review all information listed before applying to be on our waitlist. This waitlist application is for the August 17th, September 14th, and October 26th mini markets at Absolem Cider from 12-5. Each market features 15(ish) vendors set up on the grassy area outside of the tasting room. There will be food trucks, live music, and curated drinks from the bar inside as well as chickens free roaming!

Rain dates have been established for these markets as follows:

    August 17th Raindate: August 24th

    September 14th Raindate: September 21st

    October 26th Raindate: November 2nd

You are required on the application to disclose if you can make the rain date or not. While not being able to make the rain date doesn't necessarily affect your chances of being accepted, you must understand that our rain date policy is as follows:

If it is decided we need to postpone the market to the rain date and you can not make it, your booth fee will only be refunded if we are able to fill your spot. This is typically not an issue, but you must be aware refunds are NOT guaranteed.

Not all waitlist applications will be answered, vendors are pulled from waitlist when needed. It is very important that you respond to emails within 48 hours - if I don't recieve an answer to a waitlist acceptance within that time frame I have to move on to another applicant to be able to fill spots in a timely manner.

** it is important to note - that these markets are smaller than our regular seasonal markets and are much more intimate. our previous mini market brought a couple hundred people, but this market is ideal for a vendor who is looking for a fun, casual market with a focus on connection and community. the booth fee also reflects this - it is not as high traffic as our regularly scheduled markets, and there is only 15 vendors accepted to keep revenue for vendors easily distributed.

Additionally - there are some phone carriers that offer very spotty coverage at absolem. those with verizon and straight talk seemed to have no issue with service. there is wifi in the barn, but it does not reach the fields fully. venmo seemed to work well for those with spotty coverage. while there isn't much we can do to enhance service or wifi reach, we did want to disclose this ahead of time.

The cost of a 10x10ft booth for the day is $80. Vendors pulled from the waitlist need to send payment within 48 hours if the market is within a month away, OR a split payment option is available if more than a month away.

Split payments: you can split the $80 booth fee into two payments if the market you are accepted into is more than a month away. Half is due within 48 hours of receiving an acceptance email and the other half is due within 3 weeks of receiving your acceptance email.

Split or shared booths are allowed if you list both businesses info on the application and indicate you'd like a shared booth. Payment and cost is still the same, but it is up to you to decide who pays what as long as $80 is sent by the time it is due!
