Soaring: Indigenous Youth Empowerment Gathering

Soaring 2026 is coming to Halifax featuring a hybrid format! High school students will travel from across the country to discover several potential professions and post-secondary options through interesting, informative presentations about financial support, career skills, and student life beyond secondary school.

Our two-day event is taking place at the Halifax Convention Centre.

The hybrid platform will allow students and educators to access event content in person, from their classroom, or at home. The virtual version of Soaring 2026 will again be hosted on CVent. Registration, panel discussions, presentations, performances, resources, and tradeshow content will all be available during the event and up to a year after the event concludes.

Our presentation format and length are similar to a TED Talk, based on well-researched evidence. We allow some brief additional time for Q&A after your presentation has concluded. Indspire reserves the right to determine if the presentation will be virtual or in person. If you're selected to present in person, we provide travel and hotel for the primary presenter and hotel for a co-presenter (if you have one). We do not provide an honorarium.

We do not accept proposals for panel discussions via this online application.
