Application Deadline: August 10, 2025 by 11:59 p.m. (MDT)
The Idaho Department of Education is pleased to announce the availability of competitive grants for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) across the state to support high-quality professional development at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year. Funded through Title II, Part A, this initiative is designed to strengthen instructional practices, support educator growth, and ensure a strong start to the academic year. LEAs may apply for up to $10,000 to design and implement supplemental professional learning activities that align with district and school improvement goals. All funded activities must be above and beyond the districts and state’s required or regularly scheduled training. Funds must be obligated by September 30, 2025, and activities should take place at or near the beginning of the 2025–2026 school year. This grant may also be used to support or interchange with Title II-A activities already included in the LEA’s 2025–2026 Consolidated Federal and State Grant Application (CFSGA), as long as the activities meet the supplemental and allowable use requirements.
