One of the most powerful lessons learned is this: a business built entirely around one person is just unsustainable… it’s fragile.

The whole structure risks collapse the moment that person becomes unwell or overwhelmed.

Unfortunately, there is not a scenario where Lydia will be doing direct clinical patient care moving forward. That is as heartbreaking to say, as I'm sure it is to hear.

These are options to build a program where a team can help EDS patients with equal distribution of tasks and fail-safes.

Here are the options for programs moving forward. We have implementation plans for each.

Third Party Remote Monitoring and Care Management (We will no longer provide direct patient care in the formal setting like telehealth or office visits)

Chronic care management- Our team works with your new PCP-Remotely monitors chronic conditions by virtual check-ins, remote evaluations patient information, interprofessional consultation. Creation of personalized plan that includes education, support, and regular follow-up for your primary to implement. (Like we planned to implement before Lydia’s full-body betrayal).Remote Physiologic Monitoring- Tracks your health while you are at home with special devices (like a blood pressure cuff, weight scale, or heart monitor) that sends your health information directly to us through secure technology. Ideal for dysautonomia.Remote Therapeutic Monitoring-Measures therapeutic responses, including signs, symptoms, and functions.Sure all of those three sound good.
