  • Park Pictures has teamed up with All of Us Casting to cast teens and adults in Marin County & Sonoma County for an upcoming campaign for Instagram, similar to the "You Got This" Instagram spot (here), also directed by Lance Acord.

    Who We're Casting

    • teens age 13-16 who are involved with their high school football team (as a player, mascot or cheerleader) 
    • high school football teams & their coaches
    • teens age 13-16 who are involved in STEM/robotics through their school or external clubs (robotics team, science or engineering clubs, coding clubs/hackathons, math clubs, science bowls, etc) 
    • STEM teachers or club leaders
    • teens age 12-15 who are active in fly fishing
    • teens and adults for fill in roles & extras

    Production Details

    • Production Company: Park Pictures
    • Director: award-winning Lance Acord 
    • Client: Instagram (Meta)
    • Location: filming in Marin and/or Sonoma county
    • Compensation for Lead Roles: $750 per day of filming + $5000 buyout if/when media is used in campaign 
    • Compensation for Extras: $350 per day of filming (no buyout)
    • Dates:
      • In person audition: Tue 11/11 or Wed 11/12
      • Wardrobe fitting: 11/21, 12/3 or 12/4 (exact dates TBD)
      • Filming: 1-3 days between Fri 11/22 - Sun 11/23 or Sat 11/22 - Mon 11/24 (exact dates TBD)

    Campaign Details

    • Union Status: Non-union.
    • Term: Broadcast: 6 months, All other Media: 1 year, Perpetual worldwide rights for paid and non-paid PR, archival/historical retention, and non-paid industrial use for Meta, campaign vendors (including, but not limited to archival and historical uses, behind the scenes, presentations, industry events, recruiting content, press and public relations materials, award submissions and social media channels). Option to Extend for 6 months or 1 year. Option to include EU usage
    • Territory: Worldwide (broadcast in North America only)
    • Media: All media (including broadcast for 6 months in North America) including industry events such as Meta Connect, Cannes, ES, AdWeek etc and any events attended or sponsored by advertisers, etc. Materials are inclusive of unlimited edits, lifts & versions.
    • Exclusivity: Social Media platforms direct competitors including, but not limited to, Tik Tok/Byte Dance, Snapchat, Twitter, Reddit, Roblox, Fortnight.

    TEEN BOY:

    Line Read/Audition (do the whole scene TWO times, including the actions):

    Your Role: Slater, high school mascot for the football team

    Context: After a recent injury, Slater, the school’s mascot is in a cast and on crutches. 

    Scene:

    Slater is scrolling Instagram on his phone, seeing photos posted from the game. He is bummed. His dad leans over and realizes what’s happening, he offers words of encouragement.

    SLATER: Thanks, Dad… but I feel like I’m letting the team down.

    Josh smirks, knowing his dad means well but he’s still disappointed. He goes back to scrolling on his phone.

     

    TEEN GIRL: 

    Interview questions:

    • Introduce yourself.
    • Tell us a bit about your life and hobbies.

    Line Read/Audition (do the whole scene TWO times, including the actions):

    Your Role: Sarah is Josh’s best friend, she is warm & encouraging

    Context: Josh and Sarah are sitting on the steps of the porch as he prepares to leave for the competition. He is nervous.

    Scene:

    JOSH: It’s a whole nother level, I’m not gonna catch anything.

    Sarah is scrolling through her phone, searching for something to cheer her friend up.

    SARAH: Check this out.

    Sarah hands Josh her phone, she has Instagram open, he begins scrolling through fishing reels. Josh smiles. There’s hope. She smiles back at home, glad she helped her friend.

     

    ADULT MAN: 

    Interview questions:

    Your Role: Slater’s dad, he is warm & supportive

    Context: After a recent injury, Slater, the high school football team’s mascot is in a cast and on crutches. 

    Scene:

    Slater is scrolling Instagram on his phone, seeing photos posted from the game. He is bummed. His dad leans over and realizes what’s happening, he offers words of encouragement.

    DAD: Hey man, we’ll get you back out there in no time.

    He goes back to scrolling on his phone.

    DAD: Don’t stay up too late.


    ADULT WOMAN: 

    Interview questions:

    • Tell us a bit about your life and hobbies.

    Line Read/Audition (do the whole scene TWO times, including the actions):

    Your Role: Josh’s mom, she is warm & encouraging

    Context: Josh is getting ready to walk out the door for his fly fishing competition. He is nervous.

    Scene:

    Josh’s mom sees her son packing up to leave for his competition and watches for a moment. As he’s about to walk about, she offers words of encouragement.

    MOM: See if you can catch some weeds.

    He eases hearing her words. She smiles proudly.
