Campion Education offers a range of warehouse roles suited to individuals with varying skills, experience levels, and preferences. Below is a summary of the key positions available:
Prepack
Ideal for individuals who are organised, detail-oriented, energetic, and able to work collaboratively in small teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing customer orders into bags or boxes in teams of up to three
- Verifying item quantities and ensuring order accuracy
- Some lifting required; role involves standing for extended periods
Requirements:
- Ability to read English and accurately calculate/check numbers
Shift Times:
Day: 7:00am – 3:00pm or 8:00am – 4:00pm
Picking
Well-suited for those who are self-motivated, precise, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking items from warehouse shelves for order fulfillment
- Use of pallet jacks (experience preferred)
- Physical work including walking, lifting, and pushing trolleys/cages
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in reading English and performing basic calculations
Shift Times:
Day: 7:00am – 3:00pm or 8:00am – 4:00pm
Receiving
Best suited for individuals who enjoy physical, detail-focused work and are highly accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, unpacking, and organising incoming stock
- Storing items and replenishing shelves
- RF scanner experience is desirable
Requirements:
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and moving stock
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Shift Times:
Day: 7:00am – 3:00pm or 8:00am – 4:00pm
Dispatch
Ideal for individuals who are efficient, energetic, and attentive to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieving stock, packing final orders, and preparing them for delivery
- Ensuring high levels of accuracy as this is the final stage of order processing
Requirements:
- Physically able to walk, lift, and move stock
- Strong reading and numerical skills
Shift Times:
Day: 7:00am – 3:00pm or 8:00am – 4:00pm
Driver
Designed for experienced drivers with relevant licences and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving company vehicles (High Top Vans or up to 9-tonne Box Trucks)
- Delivering and unloading packages locally
- Forklift drivers will assist in stock replenishment and truck loading/unloading
Requirements:
- Full driver’s licence and/or current MR licence required
- Forklift licence with practical experience preferred
- Professional presentation and communication.
Shift Times:
Day: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Factory General Hand
Great entry-level opportunity for those wanting to gain warehouse experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- General duties such as cleaning, traffic control, and stock replenishment
Requirements:
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
Shift Times:
Day: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Team Leader/Supervisor
A leadership role for experienced individuals ready to take on greater responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising small teams (2–5 people) and overseeing day-to-day operations
- Maintaining workflow efficiency and team morale
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or leadership position preferred
- Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
- Team leader rates apply under the relevant award
Shift Times:
Day: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Additional Information:
- Standard shift lengths are 8 hours
- Overtime opportunities may be available but are entirely optional
- Recruitment commences mid-August and continues through to mid-December to meet increased seasonal demand
