Thanks for your interest in submitting for our annual Made in California exhibition! Please make sure you have read and understood the prospectus before submitting your entry. Notification of results will be sent via email on March 6, 2026 by end of day.
Entry fees are for consideration by the jurors; payment does not guarantee admission into the exhibit. Entry fees are not refundable. There is no limit to the number of entries that an artist may submit. Please visit our Instagram account for opportunities to win a free entry once a month during the open call.
ENTRY TYPES:
Juried Show: $10 per entry during the month of October 2025; $20 per entry beginning November 1st, 2025
Solo Show: $80 per submission (To qualify for consideration for the Solo Show, artists must submit a cohesive body of work containing between 5 and 10 pieces. Works not selected for the Solo Show will be individually considered for the Juried Show.)
Brea Residents and Gallery Members are allowed one free entry: Addresses and memberships will be verified. If entrants do not provide a valid Brea address or are not an active Gallery Member, those entries will be disqualified. Please email breagallery@cityfbrea.gov if you need to confirm your membership standing.
*PLEASE NOTE:
Before uploading images, ensure that they are less than 4MB in size, but still viewable without pixelation/distortion on a computer monitor. All images must be labeled with: Last Name, First Name_Title (i.e. Doe, John_Artwork1). Poor quality images can lead to disqualification.
For video submissions, if the file exceeds 4MB simply include a still image in the File Upload then provide a link to a YouTube, Vimeo, or other video hosting site in the "Notes" section of the form.
