Bilgrav Learning Tutoring Agreement

This Agreement is made between Bilgrav Learning ("Provider") and the undersigned Parent/Guardian ("Client") regarding individualized tutoring services for the student ("Student" By scheduling and paying for services, the Client agrees to the following terms.

1.) Scheduling and Attendance

• Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.
  
  
• If the Student joins a session more than fifteen (15) minutes late, the Tutor may leave the call and the session will be charged in full.
  
  
• Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance using the booking link provided in the confirmation email or calendar invitation.
  
  
• Requests made directly to the Tutor by text, phone, or email do not constitute a valid cancellation.
  
  
• Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will be billed as completed.

   

2.) Materials and Technology

The Client is responsible for ensuring the Student has all necessary resources, including a reliable internet connection, device (tablet or computer), charger, writing utensils, and any assigned materials.

Missed time due to technology issues on the Client's end will not be refunded or rescheduled.

3.) Payment and Refund Policy

• All sessions and contracts are non-refundable for any reason.
• If the Client terminates this Agreement before all contracted sessions are completed, the remaining sessions will still be charged through the end of the contract term.
• Balances must be paid in full according to the agreed billing schedule.

4.) Instructional Approach and Limitations

• Bilgrav Learning utilizes the Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach, a structured, multisensory method originally developed for learners with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.
  
  
• A formal diagnosis is not required for participation.
  
  
• While the OG approach has proven effective for many students, individual results vary. Bilgrav Learning does not guarantee any specific academic or personal outcome.
  
  
• By enrolling, the Client acknowledges that participation involves educational risk and agrees that lack of expected progress does not constitute grounds for a refund or legal claim of any kind.

5.) Liability and Indemnification

• The Client understands that tutoring is an educational service, not a therapeutic or diagnostic service.
  
  
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Bilgrav Learning, its owners, tutors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from participation in tutoring services.

6.) Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior discussions or communications. No modification shall be valid unless made in writing and agreed to by both parties.

By signing below (physically or electronically), or by paying or scheduleing with Bilgrav Learning, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all policies in this Agreement.
