BATS Theatre 'Pitch Any Time' Form

BATS programme runs seasonally 4 times a year. We understand that this format may not suit every artist or there may be gaps in our programme we’re eager to fill, so we warmly welcome pitches year-round through this form*.

*If you need a long lead in time and are wanting to confirm programming 3+ months beforehand, please email Sarai as well as fill in the form.

BATS welcomes work from first time theatre-makers, through to established artists that are returning to BATS to experiment and develop new work. We are accepting submissions for any and all types of live art to present in any of our theatre spaces:

The Stage - 85 seats

The Dome - 67 seats

The Studio - 40 seats

Our priority is 5 night seasons or longer, we will consider smaller seasons under special circumstances.

BATS' ticketing has changed since Monday 1st April, 2024. This came after audiences surveying and artist feedback. Please create your budgets based on these options! Details are below:

Show expenditure and projected income. We recommend you calculate based on 30% houses (tickets sold). BATS runs by a profit-share model, where BATS takes 20% of the total box office income at the end of your season rather than charge a venue hire fee
