Merry Wells Lighted Parade Registration "A Candy Cane Christmas"
Join us Saturday, November 29th at 6:00 p.m. for our lighted Christmas parade in downtown Mineral Wells. Line-up will begin at 3:00, judging will begin at 5, and the parade will start at 6:00 p.m.
Information and line-up will be sent out to all entries by November 25th.
Parade entry requirements
All floats, cars, and ATVs must be COMPLETELY LIGHTED on both sides, with own power source. Floats must not exceed 65 feet in length, 10 feet in width, and 14 feet in height. It is recommended that each float towing vehicle have a minimum 2-A 10BC fire extinguisher. All marching groups, vehicles and horses must display lights as well. An official Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be provided by the Merry Wells Committee. No other Santa or Mrs. Claus will be permitted in the parade. No smoking allowed on floats Floats must be in good taste, family friendly, and Christmas oriented. For safety reasons, ABSOLUTELY NO ITEMS WILL BE THROWN FROM FLOATS. You may have a designated person(s) to walk along the parade route to hand out flyers, candy, prizes, etc. All participants and those assisting with floats WILL honor and comply with instructions of parade directors, especially with regard to vehicles inside the parade staging area. Parade entries need to do their best to not have large gaps between the floats.
