The Whistler Film Festival’s Women in Focus Mentorship program offers up to five female and/or non-binary filmmakers the chance to receive focused mentorship from an experienced executive producer. This mentorship is designed to help participants prepare for and navigate the market experience at the Whistler Film Festival + Content Summit, supporting both career and project development. Eligible applicants include filmmakers based in British Columbia who have projects in development, can include features and short-form episodic series.

In addition to mentorship, selected participants will be invited to a dedicated meet-up during the Whistler Film Festival + Content Summit. This networking opportunity will connect them with fellow filmmakers, industry professionals, and mentors to exchange ideas and explore pathways to advance their projects.
