Max Lucado's Life Lessons from James is a book written by the half-brother of Jesus and this letter focuses on the need for both faith and works. He knew that a life of faith was about actions that revealed a difference in a person's life. The works do not save the Christian; they mark the Christian. James' practical approach to the Christian basics include the themes:

    -God gives us true wisdom.
-Satan tempts to break us; God tests to strengthen us.
-The words we use are powerful and influential.
-Faith and good deeds go hand in hand.

Each lesson has the following sections: Key Scripture Verse, Reflection, Situation, Observation, Exploration, Inspiration, Reaction, Life Lessons, Devotion, and Journaling.

Study will held upstairs on Wednesdays at either 9:30AM or 6:00PM beginning October 1.  *We will not meet on Wednesday, October 8 due to Fall Break.

Books are $10 each. Continue with this form to sign up and order your book.

You can pay in person in the church office or put a sealed, labeled envelope with your payment in the offering plate during Sunday services.
