Whether you are getting ready for an upcoming camp property reservation, overnight or trip with your troop, or just want to be prepared for anything, thank you for taking a moment to update our records with your current certifications. ALL first aid/CPR/AED courses must include in-person skill checks.
Regarding Property Rentals - In order to comply with the new regulations governing our certification, we kindly request that you provide us with additional documentation for your upcoming stay at a Badgerland camp property (Camp Ehawee or Camp Brandenburg).
Certifications that are required for all camp property reservations include: CPR, AED, first aid, and child abuse and neglect prevention training. In addition, if any of your attendees carry an epi-pen or inhaler, an adult will need to be certified in epinephrine auto-injector administration or asthma and quick-relief medication administration, respectively. Someone will also need to take the Medication Administration Principles online course if any attendees will be bringing medication along. Other activities, such as boating, swimming, or archery will require additional certifications as stated in Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland requires that all certifications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to your scheduled camp arrival. Failure to submit complete documentation within the specified time frame may result in the cancellation of your reservation by Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland.
