Standing Strong: Faith, Youth, and Community in Challenging Times

For the past few years, our world has been overcome by the obvious COVID pandemic. The less obvious pandemic that has plagued our society for centuries is the attack on religion, reason and intellect. The world has become all about luxury, leisure and materialism and many of us have lost our moral compass. Know that this worldly life is no more than play, amusement, luxury, mutual boasting, and competition in wealth and children. This is like rain that causes plants to grow, to the delight of the planters. But later the plants dry up and you see them wither, then they are reduced to chaff. And in the Hereafter, there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness and pleasure of Allah, whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment. [Surat Al-Hadid Verse 20].

In a world without religion and morality, it can be hard to continue to instill Islamic principles into our youth and children. This talk aims to expand on the beauties of living a life with Allah at the center and sheds light on the emptiness that exists when religion is lost from the heart.
