Kodiak Arts Council Community Choir 2025
We are excited that you are interested in our creative endeavor JOY! 2025 and look forward to building a community group of adult musicians willing to grow together and deliver a joyous musical event to the community. Additionally, it is exciting to offer the opportunity for you to hone, grow, and share your personal musical talent.
The chosen repertoire is light, holiday music. We have a mix of a cappella and accompanied pieces, some three-part (SAB) arrangements and some four-part (SATB). Concert attire will be traditional "Concert Black" (with a festive holiday accent if you choose), with black shoes/socks/stockings.

Rehearsals are our opportunity to bring our individual talents to the group and work together to create a work of art to share with one another and the community. Children will not be permitted at rehearsals. We understand this may present a challenge but hope with advanced information you will be able to secure childcare to allow you to participate. Individual practice time outside of rehearsals will be helpful and I will do my best to find ways to offer support. Rehearsals will start and end on time.
I am honored to be able to work with you in this rebuilding project and truly hope that we will find joy and kinship as we make music together.
Our rehearsal schedule is Thursday evenings 7:00-8:30 and Sunday afternoons 2:00-3:30 in the Choral Pod. Please enter the building through the main glass doors at Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium
