As members of the Association of the Texas Automotive Recyclers Association, we agree:

  honesty and integrity, has guidelines.
- Be a business that works well with all neighbors and perpetuates a desire to be involved in the community around the business.
- Aspire to keep your business clean and be responsible for all environmental issues and keep educated as to new mandates that improve the surroundings.
- Commit to always extending a professional and fair policy with all customers and try to promptly resolve any disputes.
- Promote the importance of the recycling industry and the Association and educate the public of the services offered by the industry and the Association.
- Operate business in accordance with all ordinances, statues of law and
  jurisdictional requirements.
- Take every opportunity to refer any business to Association members and work diligently to promote each other's business.
- Actively participate in all aspects of the Association and aggressively pursue new businesses within the industry to join the Association.

Direct MembershipAny individual, firm, partnership, or corporation engaged in the legal business of purchasing motor vehicles for the purpose of automobile recycling, which includes dismantling such vehicles for the purpose of recycling, salvaging, and sale of parts from motor vehicles as a significant or material part of the entity’s business. All Direct Membership Applicants must present all current dealer licenses and permits as required by their state and local authorities. All Direct Members shall have voting powers, consisting of one (1) vote per firm or company.

Associate MembershipAny individual firm, partnership, or corporation engaged in the business of selling new motor vehicle parts, manufacturers of equipment, supplies or services to the recycled automotive parts industry. Associate Members, except for the Associate Representatives to the Board of Directors, are not entitled to vote or hold office.
