  • Details and Requirements

  • A. Mutual Understanding

    The Georgia Psychological Association operates in full compliance with all guidelines set forth by the American Psychological Association (APA).

  • B. Exhibit Requirements and Space

    1. A Sponsor/ Exhibitor application must be on file with the Georgia Psychological Association at least one week prior to the event.

    2. Fees must be paid in full immediately following the registration for the sponsorship or exhibit space to be reserved. (Checks should be postmarked within one week following registration.)

    3. All fees are non-refundable.

  • C. Conduct of Exhibitors

    Name badges with the organization/company name will be provided and must be worn by the organization company representative.

  • D. Liability and Security

    Exhibitor shall be fully responsible to pay any and all damages to property owned by the exhibit facility, its owner or managers which result from any act or omission of exhibitor. Exhibitor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless, the exhibit facility, its owners, managers, officers, or directors, agents, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates, from any damages or charges resulting from exhibitor's use of the property. Exhibitor's liability shall include all losses, costs, damages, or expenses arising from, out of, or by reason of any accident or bodily injury or other occurrences to any person or persons, including the exhibitor, its agents, employees, and business invitees which arise from or out of the exhibitor's occupancy and use of the exhibition premises, the exhibit facility or any part thereof.

    Exhibitor agrees to assume all responsibility for any loss or injury related to their booth, and that they shall indemnify and hold harmless GPA from all liability which may ensue, for any cause. However, GPA cannot guarantee against loss, damages, or injury of any kind. Be advised, exhibitor should not leave valuables unattended during setup, exhibit hours and after show hours, and/or tear down. No responsibility is assumed for unpacked materials left in the exhibit area after the closing hours of the exhibit. Exhibitors are solely responsible for their own exhibit material and should insure it against loss or damage. All property of an exhibitor is understood to remain in the exhibitor's care, custody and control in transit to, within, and in transit from the exhibit area. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the security of their exhibits and equipment.

     

  • E. Insurance

    Each exhibitor is required to maintain and to provide proof, if needed, of adequate insurance or self-insurance coverage against injuries to persons, damage to or loss of property, and any inability to meet their obligations as set forth in these guidelines.

    All payments are due immediately following the registration submission to reserve the sponsorship or exhibitor spot. All exhibit and sponsorship fees are non-refundable.
