October 2-4, 2025 - The Orthopaedic Learning Center, Rosemont, IL
  • AANA’s Resident/Fellow Course: Foundations in Arthroscopy is a three-day opportunity for PGY1-4 Orthopaedic Residents and Arthroscopy Fellows to finely tune basic motor skills and proper techniques for knot tying while receiving guidance from expert faculty.

There’s a reason residency and fellowship programs choose Foundations in Arthroscopy year after year as a core curriculum builder. For over 15 years, the course has provided beginning arthroscopists with tools to create the best treatment outcomes for their patients. All small group interactions involve dynamic feedback that is essential for a successful career in orthopaedic and minimally invasive surgery. With over 16 hours of dedicated cadaver lab time, attendees will be able to increase proficiency in a variety of commonly used operative techniques for both knee and shoulder surgery.

After completion of the course, all participants will receive a FREE AANA Resident Membership. The relationships and experiences gained through attendance are like none other and will be the steppingstone for the next step in one’s surgical career.
