  • Welcome to JSNE Pathshala! Our teachers, parents, and students connect with our sangh, our derasar, and learn Jain principles and practices.

    Who needs to Register? Pathshala families need to register every year since the information is needed for proper communications, volunteer committee formations, sponsorship signups. Adult Swadhyay members are not required to fill out the form, but may still do so to sign up for committees and sponsorships.

    Who is eligible? All families with students above the age of 4 as of August 2025 are welcome to join Pathshala. We will assign them to Pathshala levels that match their grade levels in school (from pre-K to 12th grade).

    Take your time. It is important to have correct information for each family and student. Please take your time and fill the form accurately, perhaps on a larger device like a laptop.

    Class communications (such as homeworks) will be sent to the student's email address, with parent's email address always CCed. Higher levels (grades 6-12) will also receive Pathshala-wide emails.

  • Sutra Learning Sessions (for kids and adults)

    Sutras are foundational for learning and practicing Jainism. Our pathshala is blessed with dedicated Sutra teachers who provide weekly 1:1 private tutoring and group extension classes. We support both Sthanakvasi and Deravasi sutra tracks.

  • Jain Academic Bowl (for kids, ages 8-21)

    Jain Academic Bowl is a team-based national competition for young Jains that tests their knowledge of Jain philosophy, history, scriptures, and the Jain way of life. It's a Jeopardy-style competition held at JAINA conventions and organized by Young Jains of America (YJA). JSNE can have up to 2 teams of 5 people. Joining JAB requires significant time and commitment.

  • Beginners Learning Group (for adults)

    Each of us are at different levels of our understanding and practice of Jainism. We want to learn or do more, but sometimes we are lost on where to start or fearful of making mistakes.

    Snack time after class creates memorable experiences for all - students, parents, teachers!

    Families look forward to bonding and socializing over a small Jain meal after Pathshala class. Plus, some families travel very far - even an hour or more away. So let's feed everyone after class.

    As a sponsor, you will enjoy getting to know other families when you collaborate to plan and serve a session's snack. It is a rewarding experience knowing you are delighting our kids and also feeding sangh members.
