  • 🙌 Who Can Be a Volunteer?

    Anyone with a passion for teamwork, community service, or sports can volunteer! Whether you're a student, working professional, stay-at-home parent, or sports enthusiast — we welcome you. You don’t need to be a player to make a difference!

    Volunteers must be:

    • Age 16 or older (parental consent required if under 18)
    • Reliable and punctual
    • Friendly, team-spirited, and respectful
    • Willing to take direction and support where needed
    • No prior experience? No problem — we’ll guide you!

    • Referee Support and Equipment Handling
      We’ll assign you a role based on your interest and availability!

    📜 Guidelines & Volunteer Policy

    To ensure a respectful, organized, and successful event for everyone involved, all volunteers are expected to follow these policies:

    ✅ General Guidelines

    • Arrive on time and check in with the Volunteer Coordinator upon arrival.
    • Wear your volunteer badge or shirt (if provided) for identification.
    • Follow instructions from team leads and club organizers respectfully.
    • Maintain a positive and helpful attitude throughout the event.
    • No alcohol, smoking, or inappropriate behavior during volunteer hours.
    • If you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
    • Phones should be used only during breaks unless your role requires communication.

    🤝 Code of Conduct

    As a volunteer, you represent the values of Texas Capital Throwball Club. You are expected to:

    • Treat all players, staff, parents, and attendees with respect and courtesy
    • Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior
    • Maintain sportsmanship and fairness in all roles

    Immediately report any misconduct, emergencies, or safety concerns to organizers

    🔐 Confidentiality

    Volunteers may have access to private or sensitive information (e.g., contact details, health info, event plans). You are expected to:

    • Keep all personal and organizational information confidential
    • Not share or discuss internal matters or documents outside the club
    • Respect the privacy of all participants, players, and officials

    📸 Media & Photography Policy

    • By volunteering, you acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken during the event.
    • These may be used on social media, newsletters, or promotional materials.
    • If you do not wish to appear in media, please inform the Volunteer Coordinator in advance.
    • Volunteers may take pictures for personal use only with permission and must not interfere with gameplay or official photography.
