  • Wild Wool Shepherdess Workshops and Retreats : TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

  • Please ensure you have read and fully understood our terms and conditions before signing this form. The booking process will be completed and your booking confirmed upon receipt of this form, the medical emergency information, signed declaration and payment made in full. Each participant of the course must sign and return this declaration. Once a completed booking form has been accepted in writing by Wild Wool Shepherdess all the persons named on the booking form will have entered a binding contract on the basis of these terms and conditions.     Agreement: Agreement, based on the outlined terms and conditions, arises upon fulfilment of all of the following: Receipt of a fully completed booking form accompanied by the correct full payment which must be by bank transfer. Details above. The clients signature on the course booking form written acceptance by Wild Wool Shepherdess The agreement is between the client on the booking form and Wild Wool Shepherdess and is the sole agreement between those two parties.

    Wild Wool Shepherdess reserves the right, without need to give reason and at its discretion, to refuse a booking to any party or individual. Under these circumstances any payment received will be returned. The agreement is governed by English law. Payment: The balance of the fees as specified must be paid in full by the date specified on the booking form, or if no date is specified no later than 4 weeks prior to the course start date. If not paid, Wild Wool Shepherdess reserves the right to treat the agreement as cancelled by the client or clients.

    Cancellation by client or clients: If the booking is cancelled by the client for any reason, the following charges will apply: Cancellation less than 4 weeks before the course - 100 % of fee payable. Failure to attend a course will be deemed as a cancellation, therefore all funds will be forfeited.

  • The client must acknowledge that it is reasonable for such charges to arise due to the large amount of preparation and planning during the build up to each

    Wild Wool Shepherdess reserves the right to cancel all and any bookings without reason or notice. In this unlikely event, all funds will be refunded.

    Cancellation of a course by Wild Wool Shepherdess: In the event that Wild Wool Shepherdess cancels a course all monies will be refunded in full or if preferred, transferred over to another course as a deposit or full payment depending on the cost of the course.

    Wild Wool Shepherdess requires a minimum number of five students to enable a course or gathering to go ahead.

    Variation of a course run by Wild Wool Shepherdess: Wild Wool Shepherdess courses are run entirely outdoors and are therefore, at the mercy of any natural variables including the weather. Whilst every effort is made to deal with such variables, there may be occasions when, through no fault of Wild Wool Shepherdess, changes to

  • the course content and itinerary may have to be made. The client acknowledges that due to natural variables it may be necessary to alter or modify a course and that in such circumstances it is not reasonable for Wild Wool Shepherdess to be liable for any losses incurred and Wild Wool Shepherdess liability is limited accordingly.

    Client conduct during a course: Wild Wool Shepherdess expects you to conduct yourself in a reasonable manner at all times and to comply with the reasonable instructions and guidance of Wild Wool Shepherdess and the Hosting party.

    Wild Wool Shepherdess reserves the right to remove any client or clients from the course at my absolute discretion with out recourse to repayment for that course and against the client or clients will if necessary. Circumstances in which this might occur include (without limitation) disorderly or abusive conduct, intoxication, failure of control over children, inadequacy of clothing or equipment, incapacity or inability to meet the rigours of the course.

    In such circumstances the client will not be entitled to a refund of monies and Wild Wool Shepherdess will not be liable for any losses so resulting. The client will on demand reimburse Wild Wool Shepherdess its reasonable costs of effecting the clients removal from the

    Liability: Wild Wool Shepherdess retreats take place in a meadow setting completely out of doors and are by their nature, not completely free from hazard. While all

  • reasonable precautions are taken to minimise the risks clients must accept that accidents, including serious injury and death, can occur without Wild Wool Shepherdess being at fault. The client must also recognise that Wild Wool Shepherdess is not responsible for any loss or damage to the personal property of the client including vehicles, money, clothing, or equipment.

    Wild Wool Shepherdess will only accept liability for physical injury to a client that is shown to result from negligence on the part of Wild Wool Shepherdess. Wild Wool Shepherdess takes no responsibility for any loss or injury occurring as a result of the clients' failure to follow instruction. Wild Wool Shepherdess also takes no responsibility for any loss or injury occurring as a result of instruction or information to the client from anyone other than Wild Wool Shepherdess.

    Wild Wool Shepherdess is covered to a level of £1,000,000 for public liability

    Medical condition and fitness:

    The client must complete and sign the declaration on the medical emergency contact form prior to course commencement. All medical information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence.  Wild Wool Shepherdess cannot be held responsible for illness occurring as a result of an ongoing medical condition or poor fitness level. Wild Wool Shepherdess advises all clients to seek their own doctors advice before booking a course.

    Damages and loss of equipment: Wild Wool Shepherdess reserves the right to charge for the cost of replacement or repair of items of equipment lost or damaged during a course.

    Vehicles bought to Wild Wool Shepherdess courses are parked in the parking areas used by Wild Wool Shepherdess, in this instance on the land owners property ~ Farmeco, at the owners own risk.

    I agree that I have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of Wild Wool Shepherdess.

  • The person about to sign realises that although every precaution has been taken, Wild Wool Shepherdess Retreats are not completely free from hazards. While all reasonable precautions are taken to minimise the risks, those attending must accept, that accidents, including serious injury and death, can occur without Wild Wool Shepherdess being at fault. ( just a little light- hearted disclaimer ha ha)
