I confirm that I have reviewed the BEAM Venture Calendar linked above and understand that each chapter will have its own calendar with specific dates for weekly sessions, outreach events, holidays, and deadlines. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to follow the calendar provided by my chapter and stay up to date with any updates throughout the academic year.

I confirm that I have read and understood the BEAM Venture Student Handbook linked above. I agree to uphold the expectations outlined, including those related to attendance, communication, behavior, dress code, leadership responsibilities, etc.. I understand that this handbook is intended to guide me throughout the year, and it is my responsibility to stay up to date with and comply with its policies.

Attendance Commitment Statement

I understand that attending all weekly sessions is mandatory. Any absence must be requested through the formal process outlined in the student handbook, including advance notice that must be approved, virtual attendance (if applicable), and sending follow-up email.I acknowledge that if I accumulate more than two unexcused absences—as defined in the handbook—a $150 fee will incurrred and applied to the team budget. In the event of a missed session, I also commit to taking responsibility for my learning by reaching out to a mentor or teammate to catch up on missed material.

Payment of Fees

I understand that the program yearly fee of $690 is split into two halves for the convenience of parents with the first half of $345 paid upon registration and the second half of $345 paid 3 months after registration automatically via auto-payment in November or December depending on the date of registration.

Withdrawal Policy

I understand that a written notice of withdrawal must be submitted by December 1st if parents or guardians wish to withdraw the child from the second semester of the program. Notice should be turned in by email to admin@beamventure.org. If notice is received on or before December 1st, parents or guardians will be eligible for a refund of the second semester program fees of $345.
