ANNUAL PTA GIVING CAMPAIGN 2025-2026

The Annual PTA Giving Campaign is one of Hillcrest's biggest fundraisers of the year (the others are the November benefit, and the spring Walkathon). Donations are 100% tax deductible and go directly to support teachers, supplies, and programs not funded by OUSD. The suggested one-time donation amount is $545 per student this year, but we know that ability to give varies and so participation at any level is welcome. Your donation matters and will help preserve the outstanding quality of our school for all students! (Please note this is a separate donation from your grade's class funds and your PTA dues - we appreciate you giving what you can).

DETAILED PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE FOR PAYPAL PAYMENTS (2% fee requested): If you choose Paypal, once you click submit, you will be directed to a Paypal page with default amounts that *include* a 2% fee charged by Paypal (no need to calculate the 2% yourself on default amounts - we've done that for your). For example, if you intend to donate the suggested amount of $545, click on the $556 button; if you're donating $1090 for two kids, please select $1112. If you're donating a different amount that's not a default option (for example, $100) we appreciate you adding 2% ($102). This ensures that Hillcrest gets your full intended donation after Paypal deducts fees. You can enter any amount you wish, but be aware that if you enter $545 as your amount, Hillcrest students will receive only $535 and Paypal pockets the rest. **Don't like this fee situation? Neither do we! Select the "pay by check" option and go old-school and fee-free.** Otherwise, we appreciate you covering that 2% fee with the default amounts provided.

NOTE FOR CHECK PAYMENTS (fee-free!): If paying by check, there is no need for you to print out and turn in this form, as long as you click "submit" below so we have your information! Please go to the school office and drop the check in the envelope on the bulletin board to the left of the office desk labeled "Hillcrest Annual Giving Campaign." Do not hand your check to the office staff. We appreciate you dropping off your check in a timely fashion; we will send email reminders for people who have pledged but not submitted a check.

HILLCREST SCHOOL
