Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated is committed to supporting educational development in our communities. The Clay County (Fl) Alumnae Chapter is honored to support our local clay county community by providing academic scholarships to local high school graduates who are pursuing higher education.
Below you will find the eligibility and documentation requirements to complete this application.
· Must be a resident of Clay County Florida.
· Must be a graduating Senior high school student.
· Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
- You must provide an offical high school transcript (should include ACT and/or SAT scores). If your transcript does not show your scores, you must submit documentation which shows your test scores.
· You must submit 2 letters of recommendations. They both must be typed on offical letterhead.
- One (1) letter of recommendation must be from your high school teacher or administrator.
- One (1)letter of recommendation must be from an organization in which you have performed community service and include the total number of volunteer hours completed at this organization.
· Must submit a personal statement (maximum 750 words, double spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt font) reference the topic listed below.
- Describe an experience that either demonstrates your character or helped to shape it.
· Submit a headshot (accepted file formats are .jpeg, .gif, and .png).
· If your parent/guardian is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. you are ineligible to apply for this scholarship.
Deadline to apply is no later than February 21, 2026
**Students who are selected to receive a scholarship are expected to be availabe to attend the scholarship luncheon to receive their award. ***
