  • Scheduling a Half-Day Visit to the Moakley Courthouse

    This field trip experience is offered once a month on Wednesdays except where noted, with programming beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM.
  • Please choose the dates that could work for your group below. If you are able to make multiple dates work, please check them off and we'll get back to you with the first available date out of those that you selected.*

  • Courthouse Rules Acknowledgement

  • Electronics Policy

    Anyone without a Bar Card will not be able to bring their cell phone or other electronic devices into the courthouse beyond security. This includes laptops, chargers, earbuds and headphones, and smart watches. Discovering Justice is able to request a waiver to the electronics regulations for two adult chaperones to keep their phones in case of emergency. We will follow up with a request for this information after your visit has been scheduled. 

  • Local Rule 83.3 Photographing, Recording and Broadcasting

    Photographing, Recording, and Broadcasting Generally Prohibited. Except as specifically provided in these rules or by order of the court, no person shall take any photograph, make any recording, or make any broadcast by any means, in the course of or in connection with any proceedings in this court, on any floor of any building on which proceedings of this court are or, in the regular course of the business of the court, may it be held.

  • Courthouse Food and Drink Policy

    Outside food and drink are not permitted inside the courthouse. Discovering Justice is able to make an exception only when discussed with trip facilitators during the booking process.
