  • Thank you for your interest in volunteering at CREEKSIDE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY!

  • Our mission at Creekside Christian Academy (CCA) is to join with parents to provide a Christ-centered, academically challenging education to students from four years old through the twelfth grade.
  • The primary areas we seek to influence are:
  • Spiritual - To lead students to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and equip students for their present and future ministries (by example through the curriculum and within each activity).
  • Family - To assist parents in their efforts to develop well-rounded children who are capable of facing life's challenges by reinforcing Biblical Principles, by instilling a proper respect for authority, and by establishing the importance of a strong work ethic.
  • Academic - To challenge the God-given mental, physical, and artistic capabilities of students, as individuals, so they excel both now and after completing CCA.
  • By encouraging students to develop a God-centered self-concept and world-view and by providing the opportunity to achieve academic excellence, we expect CCA students to have a significant positive impact on others in their school, church, and community.

  • TEN POINT STATEMENT OF FAITH

    1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:15, II Peter 1:21).
    2. We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
    3. We believe:
In the deity of Christ (John 10:33)
His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35)
His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26)
      His miracles (John 2:11)
His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9)
      His resurrection (John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4)
His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19)
His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 10:11).
    4. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19, John 5:24, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).
  • Page | 1
  • 5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and
they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
  • 6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13,
    Galatians 3:26-28).
  • 7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the
Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14, I Corinthians 6:19-20,
    Ephesians 4:30, Ephesians 5:18).
  • 8. We believe God created and sanctioned marriage to bring a man and a woman, the complementary halves of
humanity, by joining them in "one flesh" unions. (Gen. 2:18-25) Marriage between one man and one woman for
life uniquely reflects Christ's relationship with His church. (Eph. 5:22-23)
  • 9. We believe gender matters. God wonderfully creates each person as male or female and these distinct,
complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen. 1:26-27)
  • 10. We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all
its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or
condition from conception through natural death. We are, therefore, called to defend, protect and value all human
    life. (Ps. 139)
  • CHRISTIAN LIFESTYLE COMMITMENT

  • Creekside Christian Academy requires every volunteer accept and follow a lifestyle commitment based upon Biblical principles. As a Christian School representing Jesus Christ in our community, we require volunteers to be born-again Christians and to live their lives as Christian role models. As a Christian volunteer at CCA, you
are expected to be Christ-like examples to students, parents, Administration, and one another. As a volunteer, you must conduct yourself both on and off the campus in a way that will not raise questions regarding their Christian testimonies. A Christian lifestyle should reflect the Biblical perspective of integrity and appropriate
personal and family relationships, business conduct, and moral behavior. Moral misconduct as defined by Scripture violates the requirement of volunteers being Christian role models. The following are non-negotiable issues regarding lifestyle. It is expected that:

    • You are currently living in a marital relationship and are faithful to your spouse, or are single and not currently in a sexual relationship with someone whom you are not married, or in a cohabitating arrangement with someone that is not an immediate family member of the opposite sex or same sex.
    • You are not currently practicing a homosexual or bisexual lifestyle.
    • You abstain from the use of illegal drugs or the abuse of controlled substances, such as prescription or
      over-the-counter drugs.
    • You abstain from viewing pornography online and pornographic materials in any form.
    • Failure to abide by the CCA Alcohol and Drug-Free policy, constitutes grounds for dismissal as a
      volunteer.

  • SECURITY:

  • Recognizing God's love and concern for children, Creekside Christian Academy has adopted a policy of screening ALL volunteers. The purpose of this policy is to promote a safe environment and to protect our students, as well as to guard the honor and reputation of Jesus Christ and His school. The following questions are designed to elicit the information necessary for this purpose. The information provided will be treated confidentially and will only be used by authorized staff in reviewing your application. All questions must be answered. If you answer "yes" to any of the following questions, please explain on a separate page. Your answers to any of these questions do NOT necessarily disqualify you from volunteering at Creekside Christian Academy.
  • Have you ever been convicted of a criminal offense (felony or misdemeanor, except for minor Traffic Violations?) The term "Convicted" includes entering into a plea agreement including "no contest" pleas, or a deferred sentence or deferred judgment arrangement in connection with a criminal charge. If so, please attach a statement of explanation, including nature of offense, date, court where conviction was entered, sentence of disposition and any other relevant information.
  • Have you ever been the subject of an investigation of an allegation of physical abuse, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment or an offense relating to children, criminally charged, or been the subject of a civil lawsuit involving physical abuse, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, or an offense relating to children?
  • Have you ever been subjected to discipline or dismissal from employment or volunteer service by any church, or other organization as the result of an allegation or charge of physical abuse, sexual harassment, or an offense relating to children?
