Sybil Bentley Dove Award
This endowment is intended to benefit women who are rebuilding their lives. The ideal recipient should desire to improve herself through the acquisition of skills or academic pursuits which lead to self reliant living.
Applications will be accepted from all United States. A nominee may be a current or former CWJC participant from a certified site.
WMU directors, CWJC site coordinators, staff, and others personally acquainted with a nominee that is a potential grant recipient may submit a completed application. The WMU Foundation Board of Trustees shall determine the recipient, based on recommendation from the Christian Women's Job Corps/Christian Men's Job Corps National Advisory Council.
This endowment provides a cash disbursement to the recipient as well as a cash disbursement to the nomination site to be used to further the ministry of the site.
The originator is responsible for:
- securing endorsements from the site coordinator and mentor
- a testimony describing her CWJC experience and/or her faith journey
- a copy of the site's national certification certificate
- a signed Sybil Bentley Dove Endowment Covenant
