She Is Women’s Success & Empowerment Foundation is proud to partner with Hampton Roads Cosmetology Training Center (HRCTC) to launch the She Is Empowered Cosmetology Scholarship. This scholarship will support five (5) deserving students by covering the remaining balance of their cosmetology program tuition.

Scholarship Coverage:

• Covers the full remaining tuition balance (after student-paid portions)
• Awarded to 5 students enrolled in the HRCTC Cosmetology Program

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must:

• Be accepted into the HRCTC Cosmetology Program
• Pay the $100 non-refundable registration fee
• Purchase the required textbook and student kit
• Commit to paying $500 per month toward program cost on time each month
• Maintain a minimum 80% academic average
• Maintain at least 90% attendance throughout the entire program

 

Selection Process: Applications will be reviewed by a panel of She Is Foundation and HRCTC representatives. Recipients will be selected based on:

• Demonstrated commitment to a cosmetology career
• Financial need
• Academic potential and personal motivation

Note: Scholarship recipients who fail to meet the academic, attendance, or payment requirements may have their scholarship revoked.
