    a beginner-friendly weekend workshop series for everyone

    at Oxygen Art Centre

     

    build public speaking skills

    explore creative expression 

    make art through a new lens

    most importantly - have fun

     

    Suggested ages 16+

     

    The Nelson series was completeted on the evening of Sunday, September 7th, 2025.

    This form is no longer accepting subimssions will serve as a demonstration only.



    Step into something new or develop an existing passion with local pros in acting, drag & comedy, and embodied storytelling.

    Your stage:

    Sunday evening showcase - share your story before a live audience in whatever form you're feeling. A monologue, a song, a piece of movement, a comedy bit, poetry... We'd love to see it!
    (totally optional)

    Full series participants get priority for showcase spots if demand is high.


    Choose your path:

    Full Series ($20): All 3 workshops + feedback session + priority showcase spot
    Individual Workshops ($10 each): Choose one or more at your preference

    Workshops are 2 hours in length (with a 15-minute break) each.

    Limited amount of fully-funded spots available - you can secure yours at the end of this form 👌

    💫Workshop details, updates, and facilitator backgrounds will be shared via Instagram, Substack, the Super Normal Productions website and more💫
