    Young Carers & Young Adult Carers Support Worker

    We have a vacancy in the Young Carers Project team, and require a Young Carers/Young Adult Carers Support Workers.


    Post: 12.5 hours per week -  £25,538 full time equivalent

    Wigtownshire Area

    The postholder will:

    • Provide support to Young Carers & Young Adult Carers across Dumfries & Galloway.
    • Have knowledge of working with children and young people is essential, as is access to own car.
    • Have an awareness of the workings of the third sector, health and social care services would be an advantage.
    • Have a knowledge of digital applications is essential and experience of using virtual platforms would be an advantage.

    The post will include a blended approach of home and office working
