  • Participants

  • Education in Action's TEKS-based programs provide unique learning opportunities for students and educators to supplement, and increase comprehension of, grade level learning objectives through structured experiences at relevant sites. Education in Action believes that the maximum educational benefit to students is achieved when all participating adults are actively involved in facilitating student learning during the program.  Education in Action recommends choosing chaperones that plan to participate fully in scheduled activites with assigned group of ten students at all times and are willing to attend the provided training session before the program.

  • *If total number of participants is less than 43, not including teachers, we will reach out to you with an updated cost per participant.

  • Please initial below that you have read and understand the following:

    • One adult (teacher, administrator, or parent chaperone) per 10 students is required; a maximum of two adults are permitted if space is available.
    • If the student participation numbers decrease at any time prior to the field trip, the maximum number of adults permitted on the program remains two per ten students if space is available - specifically, adult participation may decrease.
    • Each participating adult must attend a mandatory one hour training session at the school on a day chosen prior to the program.
    • The original price on the invoice is for a specific number of participants, if your participant number changes, the cost of the program may change.  Please refer to invoice for details.
  • Education in Action handles every detail and provides you and the other participating adults with simple, step-by-step instructions to ensure everyone has a fun, educational, safe, and memorable experience. Every program includes: pre-program training, charter bus reservations, venue reservations, meal delivery, program curriculum and activities, and program souvenirs including t-shirts and mascot plushies. In addition, a designated Education in Action team member will be available via phone to answer any questions or provide any needed support during your field trip day.

I understand that Education in Action provides all materials, curriculum, reservations, and training for each program and that Education in Action team members do not travel on the program.

  • Field Trip Options

  • Provide Three Preferred Dates

  • Please cross-reference your district's and school's calendars with our available dates calendar for your selected program to confirm that there are no conflicts with the dates you've selected. Once your program date has been confirmed by Education in Action, one date change is free of charge, any date changes after will incur an administrative fee.

  • In addition, the program you selected includes outdoor activities and weather can be a factor. Please take this into consideration when selecting your dates.

  • Education in Action encourages educators to schedule their field trips to take place September-January. The sites visited are less crowded and students benefit because they have more of an opportunity to apply their experience in the classroom. All Aboard for the Great Outdoors Calendar

  • Education in Action recommends choosing a date at least three months out from today's date in order to give the coordinating teacher time to collect money and permission slips.

Choosing the same date for all three options may delay the booking process. Please choose three different dates.
