This survey has been created to assess the reliability of East Garston residents' broadband.
There are 2 types of broadband available in the village. The most common will be from providers who rely on BT OpenReach to connect you to their service. This is the subject of this survey. Other providers like Starlink provide the link directly to satellites and don't involve telephone lines and broadband over 'phone lines'.
If 25 or more properties in East Garston say in this survey that broadband performance is poor (e.g. 3 or more losses of broadband a day) then we can lobby BT OpenReach to upgrade the broadband system in the village from copper to fibre which will make a big difference to reliability and speed for everyone.
(If BT OpenReach DO upgrade the service to Fibre then you won't need to change provider to receive the benefit).
In ordert to lobby them, we will need to send them data like your name, email, postcode, house number or name, and telephone number if available - please note this will be the *only* use of any information you provide in this survey.
If you enter personal information into this survey you are agreeing we can send the information to BT Openreach ONLY for purposes of lobbying for fibre broadband 'to the home'.
Please note there are 6 questions to answer and 5 items to provide information which we need to send to BT OpenReach. This should only take 3-5 minutes to complete.
