    How It Works

    • After you submit this form, we’ll either book you for the first available date based on your preferences, or reach out with options.
    • You can expect to hear from us within 1–2 business days, though it may take longer during peak times (like September and January).
    • Once a booking confirmation is sent, you’ll have 5 business days to request changes. After that, full payment is required to confirm.

    Who Can Book

    This request form is for schools within Edmonton. If your school falls outside city limits, here are the alternatives:

    • 100+ km from Edmonton?
      You may be eligible for our Science in Motion Outreach Program or a Virtual Program.
    • Less than 100 km but outside the city?
      We recommend booking a visit to the Science Centre or exploring our Virtual  or Mailout Programs.

    If you’re unsure which option applies to your school, feel free to contact us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

    We recommend submitting your request as early as possible—our calendar fills up quickly, especially during popular times of year. Short-notice requests may be possible, but are subject to availability.

    Program Options and Booking Requirements
    We currently offer two Outreach programs:

    • In-School Robotics
      Can be booked for 2, 3 or 4 classes per day
    • Mobile Planetarium
      Can be booked for 2, 4, or 6 classes per day

    Each program runs best when the full day is scheduled, so please plan based on your school’s capacity and interest. 

    Before You Start
    The form should take about 10 minutes to complete.

    You’ll need:

    • Your preferred dates and any dates you want to avoid
    • The program you’re requesting
    • The number of classes participating and their sizes
    • The name and email of each classroom teacher
    • One booking coordinator, who will receive all communications

    We ask for the name and email of each classroom teacher so our instructors know who they'll be working with on the day of the visit. This also helps us keep your booking organized behind the scenes. The booking coordinator will receive a copy of all information for every class booked.
