Starfire Sports will offer financial assistance, to the extent possible, to youth teams or clubs who wish to enter a Starfire-operated league or event or wish to utilize Starfire facilities and have difficulty paying the full fee amount. This includes both:
- Independent teams who have one or more members with economic hardship.
- Clubs who wish to enter a full team or group.
If you require financial assistance for individual team members, please direct the parents or guardians of those players to the Application for Individual Financial Assistance section of the Starfire Sports website.
Please note that this application is strictly intended for financial assistance toward fees associated with Starfire Sports programs or facility utilization and may not be used as a request for any other form of charitable contribution.
The Applicant will be notified of the outcome of their application by the Charitable Giving Coordinator at Starfire Sports within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of all required documentation.
If the application is approved:
- In the case of a team with specific players in need of assistance, a credit for each approved player will be posted against the balance due for the total team fee(s). The amount of the credit will be determined by calculating each player’s “share” of the team fee for the program or facility use described in the “Request Description” section of the application.
- In the case of a full team or club, the charitable coordinator will work with the applicant to either give them details or codes to allow them to register themselves when possible or will complete registrations or reservations for them and send confirmations once completed. Specifics will be determined after approval of application depending on details of request.

- Teams interested in enrolling in a program will not be permitted to begin play until the application has been processed, accepted, and registration has been completed. This process can take up to 14 (fourteen) days. Applications must be received prior to the start date of any league, tournament or field utilization to be considered for assistance. Assistance is not retroactive for participation and past assistance does not guarantee support for the future.
- Clubs and Organizations that receive financial assistance are required to provide impact statements annually.
