I wish to enter and participate in the New Riders Endurance Clinic 101 (event) to be held on March 20th-22nd, 2026. I have read and understand the rules, conditions, and regulations of this event and I hereby promise to comply with them.

In consideration of acceptance of my entry in this event, I acknowledge that I assume full responsibility for my own safety. I hereby, for myself, my heirs, and my personal representatives, release any person(s), owners of event property, Texas Endurance Riders Association (TERA), United States Forest Service (USFS), American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC), all that is connected with the event, their representatives, heirs, assigns, and successors, from any and all liability for personal injury or property damage arising from any cause whatsoever, including the negligence of the person(s) released, and I hereby waive any right I may have now or in the future, to assert claims for personal injury or property damage against any of the person(s) or corporations specified in this release. I hereby indemnify and release the following person(s), corporations, heirs, and assigns from liability for personal injury and property damage, and I waive my rights for claims for personal injury or damages against these person(s) or corporations including: TERA, USFS, AERC, Todd Hezeau, all event staff and owners of event property.

I HEREBY certify that I fully understand that there are substantial risks associated with activities involving horses and endurance riding, and hereby freely assume all risk and costs that I or my assistants may suffer from personal injury or property damage, including damage or injury to my horse, myself, my personal property or themselves by my participation in the event or events named above.

MINORS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SECTION SIGNED BY THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN IF UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.

We, the undersigned parent or guardian of ________________________________ for and in consideration of our child's participation in the above referenced ride, do hereby release the following persons, corporations, heirs, and assigns from liability for personal injury and property damage, and I waive my rights for claims for personal injury or damages against these persons or corporations including: Texas Endurance Riders Association (TERA), United States Forest Service (USFS), American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC), Todd Hezeau, and all event staff, which might otherwise arise by virtue of injury to or occasioned by our child or any horse under such child's direction and control. We do further authorize any officer, manager, supervisor, or emergency personnel affiliated with the above referenced ride, to consent in our behalf to any emergency medical treatment by a properly licensed person, which may be required for our child, and do agree to indemnify, and hold harmless any one giving such consent. We do further agree to be responsible for any related costs that may be incurred for the treatment of my child or their horse.
