Hello there. It's great to see you're interested in applying for our community food hub funding.

Who is this funding for?

You must be a member of the Hubbub Community Fridge Network and be running an open community fridge. If you are not currently a member, you will not appear in our membership list.

What type of activity can I apply for?

There is a detailed description of the types of activities that are suitable for this funding in the application handbook.

Please only apply if your activity is suitable as we don't want to waste your time!

Steps for applying

Step 1: Review the key documents on the webpage before filling out this form.

Step 2: Read the application questions beforehand. We strongly recommend you write up your answers first in your own document before submitting them to the form. There are notes under each answer box and a word count providing guidance on what we are looking for in your response. Unfortunately this form does not allow you to save your progress as you go.

Step 3: When you're happy with your answers, copy them over to this form.

Step 4: Read through all your answers and check for accuracy. Please ensure your answers are brief and clearly expressed, this helps us quickly understand what you want to do, what you aim to achieve and the difference it'll make in your community.

Step 5: A copy of your answers will be sent to the email address supplied in the form. Make sure there are no typos when you fill your email in and check your junk inbox for the confirmation email.

Deadline

The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on 1st October. Submissions after this date will not be accepted.

Registration
To register for the fund, successful applicants will be required to provide the following documents:
- Bank statement from within the last 3 months. This can be a scanned paper statement, or a digital statement. We need to see the bank’s name, your organisation’s name, the address where statements go, the account number and the sort code.
- Names, details and signatures of any trustees, directors or committee members along with those responsible for your organisation's finances.
- Food hygiene rating and food safety certificate. All community fridges should have these documents and we will only ask for them if they haven't been submitted previously.
We require this to ensure fundees are legitimate and credible.

To show the impact of the funding, successful applicants will be required to complete two surveys:
- 6-month survey
- 12-month survey
Groups will be notified when these are due. For both surveys, the questions will be:
- What has gone well?
- What has not gone as expected?
- How many people attended the activities (approx. total).
- What difference has this activity made to your community and the people attending?
- Case studies
- An 'after' photo of the new space
