About This Grant

Through this grant opportunity, Baltimore City Public Schools are eligible to apply for up to $2,500 in funding to support school-day arts experiences during the current school year, including field trips, performances, and teaching artist residencies.
Before submitting your application:
- Review AED's Arts Directory to identify your desired programs. Grant-funded programs must be booked through our Arts Directory.
- Confirm your school's eligiability: Schools may only recieve one Arts Experience Fund grant during any given school year.
  - If your school has already been awarded an Arts Experience Grant this school year, you are ineligable to recieve another grant during the current school year.
  - If your school is one of our 11 Arts Every Day School Partners, you are ineligable to recieve an Arts Experience Grant.
  - If your school is one of the district's 5 seperate public day schools, you have access to our Arts Accessibility Fund instead of this broader grant.
- Collaborate with administration and staff at your school: Because schools may only recieve one Arts Experience Fund Grant, it is helpful to coordinate with other staff at your building to ensure equity of access.

In order to be considered for this grant, the total cost for all requested programs should be no more than $2,500.

If you are requesting transportation to a program, please enter transportation as a seperate program, ie: Program 1, show tickets; Program 2: AED-Funded Transportation to the show. We recommend schools estimate $450-$500 per bus and buses seat 44.

Application Submission
Applications will be reviewed on Thursdays throughout the above application windows. Applications received after 9am Thursday will be reviewed the following Thursday. Schools will be notified of application status within 7 days. Notification emails will be sent on Fridays. This timeline may be subject to change based on holidays.
