    Temple Sinai invites you to join us for season 2 of "Who Nu? Season Two."

    The program runs from September 14th, 2025, through May 3rd, 2026. Each session will be held on select Sundays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Temple Sinai sanctuary (3405 Gulling Road, Reno), followed by light refreshments in the lobby. We will also livestream the sessions for people who are not able to attend in person.

        I Met You at Sinai: Josie Glassberg, Sinai School Director & Michael Cohen, Educator. A discussion about the importance of learning as it relates to Jewish values and how to nurture them.

      • Oct. 12, 2025: Session 2 - Taking Social Action

        I Met You at Sinai: Tova McGilvray, Past Chair of the Social Action Committee & Current President. A discussion about the importance of Jewish values and practicing social action.

      • Nov. 2, 2025: Session 3 - Immigration & Welcoming the Stranger

        I Met You at Sinai: Jeff & Jane Gingold. A discussion about the Jewish values of welcoming the stranger.

      • Dec. 14, 2025: Session 4 - The Environment & Preserving Resources

        Guest Brian Beffort, Washoe County Sustainability Manager. A discussion about what Jewish practices teach us about caring for our physical world.

      • Jan. 25, 2026: Session 5 - International Holocaust Remembrance Day

        I Met You at Sinai: Judy Schumer. Recognizing International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a discussion about generational family experiences related to the Holocaust.

      • Feb. 22, 2026: Session 6 - Reproductive Rights

        Guests Tanya Nawrocki and Molly Rose (TBD). Reproductive Rights. In conjunction with February 20th Repro Shabbat, a discussion about Jewish thought regarding reproductive rights. We request that attendees bring a product donation.

      • March 8, 2026: Session 7 - How Empowering Women Benefits Our Community

        Guests Mary Federico Katz and Ben Castro, Executive Director of RISE (Reno Initiative for Shelter & Equality). A discussion about Jewish thought regarding women's empowerment. We request that attendees bring a product donation. 

      • April 12, 2026: Session 8 - Hungry to Feed Our Community

        Guest Jocelyn Lantrip, Director of Marketing & Communications, Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Feeding the hungry in our community.  A discussion about Jewish values regarding caring for the needy. Request attendees bring a food donation.
