An administrative variation charge of $800.00(+ GST) minimum applies to all extensions of time requests whereby a valid and current building permit exists; providing an extension of up to 6 months.
Please note: A new building permit may be required for completion of works where building permit has expired in which case the appropriate new application form, fee and building permit levy for the work will apply.
* Pursuant to Section 248 of the Building Act 1993, a person must not act on behalf of an owner of a building or land for the purpose of making any application, appeal or referral under this Act or the regulations unless the person is authorised in writing by the owner to do so. Penalty: 120 penalty units.
