ELIGIBILITY: Pain Medicine Fellows and Residents (with an interest in pain medicine).
REQUIREMENTS: Case Studies should be relevant to Pain Medicine.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the presentations at the Annual Scientific Meeting is primarily educational. Presentations should detail a particular clinical scenario, describe the clinical background of the patient, and address any relevant evidence-based medicine the physician referenced. They should discuss investigations undertaken to determine a diagnosis or differentiate between possible diagnoses and should indicate the course of treatment the patient underwent as a result. As a whole, your presentation should be an informative and useful part of a pain physician’s medical education.
DEADLINE & SUBMISSION INFO: The format should be an abstract of 500-1000 words. All entries must be submitted through the link below.
September 30, 2025 - Case studies due.
October 7, 2025 - Top 5 selections notified by TPS.
October 16, 2025 - Power Points due to TPS for Review.

These top 5 authors are required to make a live presentation at the TPS Annual Scientific Meeting. Presenters will have 5-10 minutes each to speak about their abstract, followed by a 5-minute Q&A.
Presentations must be in a 5 slide format.
OTHER: All presenting fellows and residents will receive both complimentary registration to the meeting and a single complimentary night at the hotel. Although Fellows and Residents are permitted to submit a Case Study and apply for the Hassenbusch Continued Learning Scholarship, case study award winners will not be eligible to concurrently receive the Hassenbusch Continued Learning Scholarship.
